As a former dancer Gloria translates her love of movement and performing into hair, admiring some of the greatest performers for their fluidity and consistency. “The ability to reinvent myself artistically is an ongoing battle in my career. I love the process of creating looks and collaborating. It's similar to the feeling of performing onstage— a rush of emotion that I want the world to experience through my work." Gloria has an in depth understanding of the history and power of hair and applies it through a modern lens, always bringing a keen eye to detail and willing to go the extra mile to convey the story.

A first generation American, Gloria is also proud of her Colombian and Puerto Rican roots.
